Even if it's a £150 banger, let people look at the car right. Whether or not the buyer considers it worthy of scrap is going to be much more in favour of "not scrap, I'll buy it" if they can do fiddly things like checking windows. Or, you know, drive it a few yards.
Anyway, the 850 GLT I looked at appeared to have a good engine, half-decent body, and be worth £150 in theory, but since i couldn't check if the gearbox/clutch/brakes were okay, then I'm not fussed. It also had a cracked windscreen and a blowing exhaust, so two strikes before I even started from a "quick MOT" point of view.
