(no subject)

Today was a 500 mile round trip to collect siani_hedgehog's new Blue Cochin hen (ordered when the others were collected) from the Wernlas rare breeds centre in Shropshire. mr_pete and jenova_red came along too, and we also collected a bantam for my mother - she now has three bantams in addition to (I forget) normal chickens.

Not a bad drive and a lovely lunch in picturesque-but-bereft-of-food Ludlow.

Also a picture of blue mashed potatoes I had with dinner a couple of days back.

Now I expect it is time to sleep ;)
