*snorts*

I got a Nemi! I got a Nemi!

I did check the translation, but I laughed (a little, it's not the funniest Nemi ever) beforehand.

Now, to Edinburgh to move stuff for [livejournal.com profile] marymortis and pick up a cello book/rosin for one of the brats, and maybe get some more IKEA shelving so I can move stuff into the cellar. Such plans I have *nods*

Plus, I shall move the CD player I have lying around back into the Subaru, so that I have music. Hrm, I should burn some CDs of music I like; that, or just listen to the new Depeche Mode one.

I can almost play the into to Echo Beach. Go me. That's like, really complicated, man. *glares at poorly co-ordinated right hand*

*flop*

I don't know what stuff had to be moved, I still haven't been upstairs to organise any of it.

We left around 12ish; Siani needed fuel, the traffic around the petrol station was mad. In fact the traffic everywhere was mad, eventually it looked like we'd get into Edinburgh around 2:30...

Well...

We would have, but after the A720-A1 roundabout, the Scorpio blew the radiator out. Hard. The entire engine was covered in coolant, but it looks like only the rad is damaged; oil and so forth look correct.

Also, the Subaru handled like shit because one tyre was down to 10psi; we waited by the side of the road for 40 minutes for my mate Ian to let me know how much recovering the car would cost (£291!) before giving up and going to get food at BK, eventually he phoned with said figure.

We locked up the car and left it; the Subaru has a towbar, we'll find a car trailer somewhere I'm sure.

So, £600 of damage potentially. On the Scorpio. Siani is now shopping for a Sera of her own as she prefers Autos anyway, I'm thinking the Subaru will have to be pressed into full time service for a while.Stupid car.

As a result of this, we didn't get back until after dark - and here's where the stress kicks in for me really - Morticia asked to go out before we left; I figured we'd be home around 4, so let her.

It's fireworks night.

My cat is outside somewhere and isn't coming when called. I'm SURE she has just gone to ground, she's not stupid...

But... my cat *worries*

I also ran into a Violin shop and had to stop myself drooling over a Bridge electric 5 string... only £1050. So nicely weighted (yes, I had five minutes to wait whilst they got the rosin and bridge I wanted from downstairs). I wish I could play properly and justify owning such nice kit :(

*looks outside for Tish again*
YEAY!

TISH CAME BACK INSIDE! SHE'S OKAY!

And: Siani found a firework stick on the back step *panicpanic*

She hadn't told me until Tish was back. She thought I would go into "Kill people" mode. She's probably right, but I also think the stick just fell there by co-incidence.
