Sunny Day - pictures!
Mar. 18th, 2009 04:47 pmThis weather puts me in such a good mood, albeit unproductive. The car has now been mostly polished, though I want to find out what the modern equivalent of the blue-with-a-TVR-logo-on-it polish I used to use is - that stuff was brilliant. I like to do several coats of wax on a car that lives outside and most of them don't work that way anymore, it seems the solvents they use prevent the traditional "one coat, another coat" approach. Simoniz is too heavy going.
I also grabbed the long lens since I saw a Magpie in one of the tall trees looking really good framed against the sky.
Having the whole yard is lovely. Having the space to just clean the car and not feel constrained in where I am is good. Cross fingers that we DO actually get the rest of the house...
