I really wanted to sort out my phones a bit, so I looked at my contracts. Both are until 2010. Blah; I knocked the Vodafone account down to a much lower tariff with some data inclusive (I use it in the iPhone and mostly retain it for incoming calls, rarely text or call anyone with it - not by any failing of the iPhone as such) but I still have a dilemma.
I really, really want a G1 I think. Jen seems to absolutely love hers, the messaging and so forth applications seem really stable and well implemented. The screen also looks a lot more comfortable to use.
I have a Nokia E90. It's been reliable, syncs well with the Mac, has GPS and so forth. I've dropped it a couple of times and it hasn't shown any signs of being upset.
Am I just really distracted by "something I don't have and haven't used", or is the G1 going to be better than the E90? I could easily sell the E90 for enough to buy a G1 on eBay.
What I really want to do, if I get rid of the whole geeking thing, is just get rid of having too many phones and have... and I know this means dealing with O2 - an iPhone 3G. Which I'll probably do when my contracts run out, particularly if Citroën give me a bluetooth upgrade. Then I'd only need one number.
The data stuff outside of the iPhone I'd just get a T-Mobile 3G broadband thing for. It's cheaper overall than the mess I have now.
Work beckons. *gone*
(Also, Buzz! on PS3 is quite fun. Might get that next month, and make my own question sets).
