Sitting on my floor right now is a slightly beaten up computer by the name of "blackcat". It's got an ancient Linux Kernel, and hasn't been used for some time.
It is my old PS2 Linux kit. Gavin gave it back, after buying it "I've forgotten how long ago", along with a secondhand PS2 he'd bought that wasn't working well and is missing feet.
Connected it all up, fired it up and it worked right away. I'll take it down to Birmingham, seek another 3000-series PS2 for spares, and a Sync-on-Green friendly LCD display of suitably low res and small dimensions eventually.
Nice dinner with Ailsa, and the Ignis did 180 miles on 21 litres, or roughly 38mpg. And that's less than ideal conditions and a little bit of thrashing.
