Culling

Roland GR77b MIDI guitar system - £500
Roland SH-101 with mod grip, postcode etched on case and chipped battery cover, all controls good but power switch needs cleaning. £175. Maybe. Not sure yet.

Argh. I can't actually do this; everything I look at is here for a reason!

Still, the MIDI bass is beyond anything I'll ever do with it apart from liking the 80sness of it.

Bah!

Post office full of smelly people. VERY smelly. And very busy.
Went to change horn on Delica. Rust. Rust. I am SICK of rust. Horn is rusted away, which I knew, but also some brackets are rusted and the underside of the inner wing had paint flake off. Unimpressed. I really hate this bloody country; how on earth can the car survive 9 years in Japan pristine, then in 2 years, be looking like a 1970s Vauxhall Victor?
02. Cost me another £33.50 because I managed finally to get through 2 days after they'd issued another bill, AND I have to write to them to cancel my contract even though I've renewed it with no paperwork whatsoever. They tried VERY hard to get me to stay; I am betting they don't have the handset I want, and therefore I'll be posting off contract termination letter ASAP.

*sighs*

Just once, I'd like to buy a used car and find that it isn't rusty. I really, really hate rust. It's been the one thing I cannot deal with on cars since I first started driving; so many of my nicer cars killed by rot and the sheer inability of anyone in the Borders to be trusted with repairing it. The Delica is not such a big deal, I can hammerite the area and waxoyl it (if I can clean the WD40 that is everywhere, at least), but just once, please, let me have an interesting car which isn't rusty.

Even the Seras showed tiny bits starting on the doors.
