Jun. 11th, 2007 11:35 amWednesday. Got new iMac to run new scanner. My new, and tidy, office, is feeling all professional and stuff, I just need stuff to scan now! And Adobe to send me CS3...
Anyway. MacRumors etc. are going on about a new iMac release. The last refresh was in September, so it's about due, but the iMac tends to have a slower refresh schedule than the MacBook range anyway.
However, I may, by buying a new one, have trigged the release of a vastly improved one. It is inevitable, I feel.
This only applies if they LAUNCH it - as in "here's the new 2.4GHz, Santa-Rosa based, aluminium or matte-black plastic cased iMac Pro! Get it now!". If they show one and say "It'll be out in time for Leopard's launch in October", or something like that, it doesn't count.
Most people seem to be favouring/hoping that the Mac Mini will die and instead there will be a sort of "Not quite Mac Pro" small desktop system.
