Jan. 9th, 2007 12:41 amIt may be boring.
It may be cheap and dented.
It may be slow.
But I have just loaded the Astra with effectively >Whitby levels of luggage (due to bringing airbeds, sleeping bags, couple of items for people) and it still has a little space left in the boot. The back seat is completely empty aside from easily moved jumper and blanket. The cables for the Satnav/iPod etc are hooked into a 4-way splitter with me considering bringing the tiny fridge too! It's now insured properly and basically ready to go, unlike me, who is going to get 4 hours sleep realistically.
I am crossing my fingers for a good drive. The weather, knowing I have a long drive tomorrow, is whipping up a storm, but if a bottle gets blown at the car, I won't flinch. That little Astra will battle through. I know it will.
And if it doesn't, I'll burn the sodding thing ;)
