Selling stuff, buying stuff!

I think I'm about to buy a white Astra TD estate. It's a T-reg and will replace... the Sera. For a little while. Obviously is a cheap runaround.

I've listed instruments on Sound On Sound, so hopefully I will sell them. TX816, TD3K drums, my MIDI guitar and bass, and my Moog synth are first on the chopping block. I'll see how far I can cut back and not notice the instruments are gone. It feels good to simplify a little :)

Feel free to check out my Music Page and ask about kit being for sale, but a good hint is that if the instrument is special to me because of how long I've had it, or where it came from, it won't be sold.

Next week's plans are delightfully complex, but I am thinking they might go a little like this:

Tuesday: Drive to Cheltenham for countb's funeral/wake, and stay with sarah_mum.

Wednesday: See malcygoff and poisonivy. We can mourn the Sera's departing! (I really don't have a choice. I intend to sort my cashflow completely this year). I am not assuming crash space is available so we probably need to make plans of some sort.

Thursday: Depending on people - see my Granny in Nuffield Care Home in Oxford, see ??goths?. Undecided. Having a thought about jenova_red coming down on Thursday evening on the train so we can head to arachne's whilst siani_hedghehog spends time in London...

...or perhaps comes along to Arachne's and goes to London from Arachne's (or if there's some magical way that getting to Kent by car from Oxford results in some clever conjunction of netgoths, then figuring something out). Crash space is not confirmed for Thursday to the best of my knowledge.

Friday: If we're in Kent, then jenova_red & I might take a trip down to see yuitsu, if we're still around Cheltenham area and Jen gets the train on Friday morning/afternoon, maybe ninjagirl would like a visit. Much flexibility is available here.

I think that Friday siani_hedgehog definitely plans to invade London.

Saturday: Arachne and giolla's Housewarming party! During the day we may help sort stuff out, get underfoot, or get out of the way.

Sunday: Home again. Depending on moods, weather and so forth, possibly via Birmingham to return jenova_red home and maybe collect a massive PC case since I'll probably be driving the Ashtray estate, unless something odd happens car wise.

All of this is quite uncomfirmed and is perhaps open to variations like popping in to Derby or Leeds if we're passing at sensible times on the way back up (i.e. not via Birmingham), but on a more flying visit basis. metzkass, I don't know if you'll be at parties or anything, but if you're around I can bring the synthesizer I repaired for you?
