Clover still isn't dead, still isn't 'better'. Usual pattern of sleepy, then perky (but not properly perky). Moving around the house a lot more than she usually moves around her hiding place, and definite aiming at food when moving herself around, but she hasn't left the house.

Ivy has been running about as normal, but is currently in the nest.

Vet thinks the Kaogel made her eat, was impressed by attempts to clean her up, wants to give her more Kaogel but 1ml doses instead of 2ml. Seems really convinced that she doesn't have coccidiosis.
Clover still in her house, alive and reasonably alert, still not very interested in food offered.

People working on drain outside.

Toric lens in on second attempt, but inside out. Much swearing. I need magic contacts that fit themselves.

RX8's bumper now free of dead bugs, and very thoroughly cleaned. Even cleaned wheels with Q-tip in the silly little hole mouldings. Waiting patiently for the height adjustable seat base to show up before I consider other changes - current thoughts are:

MP3 CD changer - lack of progress on the iPod interface means that the 6-disc in dash MP3 CD changer is appealing, but expensive. And not an officially supported combination of Mazda modular components, but the dealer swears blind the unit in the RX8 is exactly the same as the MX5, which offers the combination. If they want to take the risk - i.e. I only pay for it if it is installed and working - I might take it.

Start button - if cheap on eBay and doesn't require wiring mods (i.e. plugin). It's a bit crap, but if I found one for a few bucks it would be fun to have a start button. It fits where the coin tray is. I forgot I had a coin tray after using it on the way back from the NEC.

I also keep watching for a cheap illuminated gearknob (again, it's stupid expensive and a bit silly, so I wouldn't buy it normally) and cheap bonnet struts (I didn't want them because they involve drilling into the bonnet, but my bonnet now has a dent and stonechips anyway. Only if cheap, again. I'm all pleased with the RX8 door pillar trims, they make the whole glass section reflective instead of the matt-black B-pillar breaking up the front and rear windows. The pillar is thick on these cars, too.

Got good feedback from the Capri buyer. Phew.

Cello setup will cost £30 for fitting the soundpost in Edinburgh, a while-you-wait task. I'm going to have it done right, dammit. They're curious about this Romanian cello, too. They'll probably slag it off no end (they sell those Chinese student cellos, but specify that they aren't orange thankfully), but my instincts are that it's a good one.
Random:

I am very upset by May dying, and Clover being ill. I just don't tend to demonstrate these things, especially when I'm being practical. I'm also prone to optimism, so as long as Clover remains stable or perks up sometimes, I'm not going to get depressed, especially since my baseline depression has been extremely bad this month (again, I doubt many people noticed that either). So if LJ seems devoid of emotional comment (which is pretty normal for me), it's not that I don't care or am not affected by it.
Got the Kaogel, used the Sera which is feeling rather wobbly at the front now. Can't wait until the bank/court business is done (verified that I can use Leeds court, yeay, all in one claim!) and the Sera can have new suspension - even if I keep wondering about selling it, it'll be the best Sera going pretty much!

3D vision is weird. Also, if I just put my broken (right) eye lens in, which is a normal sphere lens, and my old glasses on, I get almost useful vision; about on par with the out of date prescription in the left eye. Now that's just strange.

Got the RX's bumper waxed, finally. Now just need to go over the whole car again, but with less 'effort'.
