Mixer PSU blew up. Annoying, but I had the spare. Time to rebuild one again.

Japanese Import Transformer arrived from Hong Kong, very well packed. Why do the Japanese kids get this one and everywhere else gets the Hasbro engineered plastic one? The Takara one is diecast, feels more solid (but slightly cheaper in some body parts, in terms of look) and it makes that click. People around my age will know the click I mean, the clicking noise the joints in the original Transformers made.

Apart from the physical, material differences, the Japanese model is much easier to transform, with less effort and less "Oh, that's gonna break" - and the arm doesn't keep falling off.

Waiting for surveyor, doin' work. Blah.

Surveyor has been and gone, thinks house is huge, no clues as to value but seemed to think that my guess as to the bill was about right, and the bill is based on the valuation given. Nothing worrying, reckons roof is recent, stuff in cellar probably isn't asbestos and if it is, it isn't the bad kind.

Bored of trying to write articles about hard discs. Hard discs are ultimately very boring things.

Wondering what CDs to take with me when I get the car. I'll have the iPod for the train/bus, but I have a 6CD, not MP3 changer in the RX8, so I need (at least) six CDs for the drive back.
