Bah. Too bloody hot
Sep. 6th, 2005 05:36 pmIt's muggy and annoying. I've still got a couple of spaces to sell, but I've been fed up of trying and spent a bit of the afternoon outside working on the Sera's wiring.
I have now made a wiring loom from two Toyota-ISO adaptors which converts the ISO head unit to mate with the Super Live Surround System. I don't have a centre feed, so I have to skip that part, but I have rotating speakers and a functional (if rather crap) subwoofer just as Mister Toyota intended. Wooo!
I'm ashamed of the quality of my loom, but I shall make a better one if I can get the appropriate connectors from anywhere.
Now I need a number of good quality 4 ohm 10cm speakers to upgrade the rather pathetic 15w paper cones in the car. My JVC MP3 player makes them cry :D
Next job I'm dreading though. It's the dreaded... scary... WIRING LOOM OF DOOM! But then I'll have a speaker that works in the driver's side door, and therefore a properly functional stereo system.
Actually, making the door loom doesn't faze me at all. Trying to deal with the necessary rubber isulation/waterproofing, however, does.
