You scored as The Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker). The Fourth Doctor is your favourite, as well as being the longest running Doctor. Was it was his eccentric wit or Leela in a skimpy costume that swayed your judgement?

Oh, and yeay for Labour. Yes, their fuckwittery is going to encourage the use of less economical cars.

Why?

Well, they plan to reduce fuel tax and charge per mile. Something those bloody lefties have been whining for for ages, because they don't drive.

Well, here's the thing. I doubt they're going to reduce fuel tax to the extent of 20p a litre, roughly what running a 40mpg car in a rural area (2p/mile) is going to cost. Charging per mile penalises users who use economical, less polluting (simply by dint of burning less fuel) cars, as well as being downright insane in an area like this. I wonder if Scotland can tell them to go take a flying fuck at a rolling Bannock.

All of a sudden, running my Supra will seem like the inexpensive choice. If I'm going to pay for the miles I do, I'll do them in comfort, at 20mpg sans catalytic convertor, and probably at 90mph thanks to the deserted roads for all the people that can't afford to drive when they implement something which will make some commuters in the Borders pay another £2 a day (many, many people travel 50 miles to work here).
