I'm joining the Apple Developer Programme and getting me one of those $999 Intel-based Mac 'development' boxes.
I mean, I know I have to give it back, but who knows what coule happen in the intervening period. Accidents do happen, sadly.
And it would be nice to have owned a machine, which will be as historically important - no matter what happens to Apple in the meantime - as a prototype Apple Lisa, or a genuine Cortland IIgs development box.
