How to annoy me
May. 9th, 2005 12:41 pmOffer me a Jeep Cherokee 4.0 LTD for £800.
Then when told I haven't been able to sell my Supra for the past two months, and I can't see that changing, tell me you'll take £400 then £400 a month later.
Argh. Argh, argh, argh.
I can't have it, but it's a damn good price for a Cherokee 4.0 auto with a year's MOT. It wasn't as rusty as most of the early ones I've seen, IIRC. It's black, too.
Weekend wasn't too bad. Weather made it tolerable, was fun fixing the Sera's doors, found a way of fixing the DMP7D's motorized faders, started playing some classic thing on the violin which amused me. I'm getting better with the violin, which isn't bad since I've only picked it up about 10-15 times and haven't played it with any tuition. I suppose playing the cello for a while helps, but I mostly need to get more strength. I feel weak as a kitten at the moment, and my back is killing me.
Accordion soundcard showed up from my friendly French eBay seller, meaning I am now 3 cards (Brass, Grand Piano, Guitar) from having the full set for my JD800. Yeayness.
Less yeay was seeing the G505, GR300 and GR100 auction I'd been watching end at what seemed like a legitimate £800, only to find that it was a non-registered asshole screwing up someone's auction and the highest legitimate bid was only £101. That's depressing.
Siani's work on the fence is coming along well, she has wood and concrete, and has the holes dug.
Hmm. What to do with the rest of the day. Got one page to sell, then go to the bank. Maybe I'll take the Sigma and go look for stuff to take pictures of.
