It's dead Jim
Jan. 7th, 2005 06:23 pmWould you credit it.
Every car - apart from the Beetle, which is 20 miles away - is dead. All had flat batterys, but the Sera has no MOT or Insurance, the Supra's tyres are now going flat faster than I can get air into them, and the Scorpio is overcharging, resulting in total shutdown of the car's management systems (though the engine keeps going. Heh).
So we'll have to use the Sera to fetch the Beetle. If that car is dead I am going to scream.
Welcome back to the UK, get your wallet out and hand over a couple of hundred quid for an alternator and battery - let alone tyres for the Supra, which now needs 4 of them because they are directional and it's both the n/s tyres which have gone. Also, it hasn't stopped raining yet.
