Another Airport Lounge Lizard

Staring at the tiny screens, eyes dart, distracted. Cold blooded, basking in the oppressive almost-heat of LAX, it's not prey as the repetition scroll, scroll, bubble & beep of a thousand connected machines while away another two hours of life to skip 8 hours ahead in 10. All these little things, routines, we do. Move us thousands of miles and still that pebble covered in bright pictures holds our attention.
