Since moving here, it has been absolute chaos. I still can't believe it's only the beginning of the fourth month here - (May/June/July), and so much has happened. I've bought a lot of stuff and changed a lot of things, and I can be forgiven for having gone "OMGWTF" a few times.
But you know? I have Smashing Pumpkins and Peaches and Pulp blasting out of the iMac whilst I sort images and write, I've got so many more doors open in my head at the moment, and the breeze is blowing through, rattling cupboards, disturbing papers, revealing pictures and essays from decades ago; yellow minis and blue bicycles, mountain streams and cities in the rear view mirror.
Some of those bits of paper aren't great, obviously. But you gotta tidy sometime.
Some things hurt more than cars and girls. It's good to be reminded of that occasionally.
