I have, at last count, Far Too Many gadgets.
There's the FlipStart, which is a 5.6" "pocket" Windows PC with 3G built in thanks to some hackery
The Aspire One which is a netbook
The Nokia E90
An 8GB iPhone
A Macbook Pro AND a Dell XPS laptop (dead at the moment though)
A Sharp Zaurus (which I do have running, but haven't really had time to mess with yet)
iPod Nano
iPod 80GB
I am thinking that I would find it far more effective if I got one device which replaces the Netbook, FlipStart and "Windows Laptop" role - the Sony Vaio TT - when all this house stuff is done.
Has anyone on myflist used/got a Vaio P or TT series? Has it actually been useful, is the battery life as claimed? Is it powerful enough to run Lightroom tolerably (it should be). Seemingly the 128GB SSD model is the model to get and it has Blu-ray as well.
For the phones, I am waiting for Apple to release version 3 of the iPhone hardware and software - the software adds MMS and various things I would otherwise have missed - and sell the E90 and 8GB iPhone. I think that this will do everything I could possibly want in a smartphone. It'll be whichever is the highest capacity so it will also replace the Nano.
Hmm.
So yeah, the question is - has anyone I know got one of those small Vaios, and are they worth the outlay. Will it be as small as the Aspire One, as usable for Windows as my Dell, and as neatly integrated for 3G as the FlipStart?
