Snow

More paint fumes today. Blah.

I'm forcing myself to exercise again. I felt good when I did so and a lot sharper overall, not just physically. I've really got no excuse not to now, the levels of disruption should be lower (though there are still questions about the house stability which won't be resolved until the theatre has finished with the new fences. They've had quotes for new windows for this bit too... Hmmm. I like the sashes, but it's VERY draughty!).
Guitar Hero: World Tour - obscenely expensive list price and I've wanted it for ages; I found someone selling it on eBay for £84 BIN. Seemed like too good a deal to be true, the explanation is that they're customer returns from Argos, all three platforms available. Lives within "driving to go surprise 'em if they rip me off" distance, so I took a chance that it would be as described (PayPal protection, etc.).

It was. And it's great fun. I am looking forward to having visitors to play with it :D

Also BBC news item saying "House prices up 1.9% in January".

I like that. It's not a green shoot, but it's a chance from "OMGDOOM".
Citroën announced a "new DS" range for Geneva.

You can imagine how exciting this would be for me. A car true to the beautiful, sleek, advanced, individual 1955 original. Something due to be released in 2012 - when the warranty on my C6 expires. Something that might take the groundwork from the C6 (the wheelbase, the glass, the interior maybe) and brings it up to date in a less anonymous package, with more styling inherited from the DS (trapezoidal tail, indicators in roofline, flowing headlights with dual lamps).

The previews came out.

It's a bloody C3 Mk II.

In brown with a white roof.

It looks like a bastardised MINI with even worse visibility. No mention of it riding on gas, either.

If I ever get a time machine, screw going back and shooting Red Robbo. BL can die. This is more important. I'm going to find the person at Peugeot that decided that their crappy middle-of-the-road engineering was "better" than Citroëns, and feed them into a helical gearbox. Slowly. Then maybe the BX will have an aircooled flat four, the CX would have a triple-rotor Wankel, and the ZX would have been sprung on torsion bars with interconnection.

And the Saxo would never, ever have existed.
