Quick run up to Glasgow (dropped off dryer for Siani), Happy Birthday Jez, hang around and annoyed people with battery-powered synth trying to make psytrance out of Garageband loops, back to Hawick, Kaitlin appeared next day, much furniture disappeared, back to Birmingham.
How have more light in studio, fewer old Apple II cards.
Bumped into estate agent when in Hawick, he says some cheaper properties are beginning to move and he's advising all his clients to stand firm on prices, because it doesn't matter if they drop £1000 or £100,000, if people can't get the credit all they're doing is devaluing property. So, 5 beds on Weensland Road, still > £250,000. This is good. The small number of properties in the Borders means that IF people maintain this attitude, then the falls will be minor - slow to climb, slow to fall, if it falls at all, has always been the way of the Borders property market.
Can't believe the amount of driving I've done this weekend; I left at 2pm Saturday, straight to Glasgow, hung about a bit, back to Hawick, some sleep, back to Birmingham.
