Pictures when I get around to it, but lugging the 300-800mm around Edinburgh Zoo pretty much made up my mind; Not A Chance In Hell. Not taking it. Also, all this crap about "check with your airport about baggage"; I've been trying to get through for ages and the line is constantly enagaged. Airports really do suck these days.
However, leaving that lens behind, not such a big deal, since I've arranged a 120-400mm OS and 2x convertor. Buying a 120-400 in Florida would cost me about $900, way less than the risk of losing/damaging a $9000 lens.
David followed in the A-class on the way up to the Zoo, so he could take Shirley home and I could go on to Glasgow with Siani's paperwork and see people at the 'note. He says my car looks quite normal on the road and blends in. BAH! He was also rather susprised by how quickly it can move to overtake things.
Right. MR2 should be going, I need to sort the rest of my clothes, and then finish some website work. AAaaaaand... relax :D
