Well, that's alright then
Jul. 3rd, 2008 12:30 pmThe Suzuki's broken A/C looks like it will cost me £80 and some faffing, plus the refill charge, to fix. Shock horror - a reasonably priced component from Suzuki. Apparently the part with the metal pipes includes the unions and flexible hoses, so should be a simple spannering job to refit. All the refrigerant leaked out anyway so I'm not worrying about draining down.
Annoyingly the part is likely to take 2 days to arrive, so I can't be really clever and fix my AC before the weekend :(
The silver XM has been re-offered, but I just cannot get much enthusiasm up for it. However; joy, the mixing desk sold with delivery to junction 15 on the M6; they don't want the huge IKEA desk, but I can't see any practical place to put it in Birmingham so if anyone wants a very big IKEA Jerker desk with four shelves and some magazine racks and so forth, it might be going begging.
