HIGH Definition, baby
Apr. 6th, 2008 06:32 pmSo, weekend done mostly. Piled
deathboy (as in the band), though, so
pda and Phil into the A-class, with equipment, and drove them Ooop North. For those of you who filter this shit out; the A-class is a small Mercedes that has a smaller footprint than a Golf (even a Ka in SWB form, from memory), isn't ludicrously tall - yet seats four in comfort and their luggage.
Hung around, crashed at Jo's, lots of hanging out and talking shit, slept on a floor, drove back, worked out running Phil home would be almost as efficient as taking him to the station. Aaaaand, relax, all done.
Whilst in Stockton, I found a computer games shop with a BRAND NEW Atari Lynx and 10 (actually 11) games, and brand new Xbox 360 HD-DVD drives. The latter are £39. And come with the media remote. And here's the pleasing bit - they have an external PSU and they work ON THE EEE. As a CD/DVD etc. drive. Without faffing about.
Okay, so it's hardly portable, and it's white so it doesn't match my console or Eee, but it was still a bargain IMO.
Very zonked out now. Might go on IRC in a bit but very tired.
