Oh! Yeah, It's like, a new year tomorrow
Dec. 31st, 2007 06:51 pmLately it's all been a bit chaotic, so I think of each day as having a whole load of new things to deal with. Which is why, I'd completely failed to notice that in fact, 2007 ends today! It wasn't a bad year, but I need a break. Okay, that's kind of a cop-out, given other people's reviews, but everyone that knows me I think would probably know the summary anyway. Loads of people are due credit for making 2007 a lot better than it could have been!
2008 will, inevitably, be astoundingly busy I'm sure.
I hope to see more of everyone next year. If nothing else, 2007 has really driven home to me the alien idea that in fact, I do have friends, more than I've ever considered myself to have or deserve, and equally alien the idea that I do actually need those friends, want their company, and enjoy being around them.
( Car Stuff )
I forgot to get tickets for Convergence; they're still available, but will cost me more. I plan to attend, though. Whitby is of course planned and booked. Workwise, I am having a lot of thoughts about expanding the work that I do currently into offering PR/Marketing services (partly why I am wanting to remove the car "stress" and indeed, have a nice car - whilst I don't think the car makes any difference to someone's ability to do the job, it's not a universal approach, and if people are going to bond/consider me as their agent/talk to me, a striking car will inevitably providing that opening conversation). And I do hope to see more of everybody next year!
Have an excellent New Year, everyone. I think we're going to sit in, relax a bit, and I'll probably play more Guitar Hero, at which I clearly suck since I'm having trouble with the harder songs on medium level. Damn co-ordination.
