Hmmm

The GR77b only got bid up to £255.

Obviously, this resulted in it failing to sell.

I'm pretty disgusted, actually; as a bass guitar, you'd be struggling to get anything of that quality and design for anything like that sort of money, let alone with the MIDI/synthesizer features.

I get a free relisting. So I shall do so, to end at a more sensible time than 1:30am (but frankly, people should just bid what the hell they want to pay, and no-one wanted to pay as much as the reserve). I'll be able to correct a couple of minor errors. I'm also considering if I even want to bother relisting it. If it is worth so very little, I see no point in selling it even if I can't play bass. I could get nearly as much by selling my other basses.

What should I do? Relist? Or just keep it?

Also: Power cuts and synthesizers misbehaving (the JX10 took a strop over MIDI, the VZ got pissy about sysex dumps, and the power flaking out upset the Novation so the sounds had some interesting glitches until reloaded, which bothers me greatly and makes me want to add more filters to my already heavily filtered power line), combined with the crap 1st revision Mighty Mouse on my G5 getting so crap it won't scroll, and then rapidly dropping wireless connections when I was trying to search (in fact, the BT "ShiteRouter2700" has been rebooting itself and dropping ADSL too) cause me to get Some What Angry, and said Mighty Mouse got hurled across the studio having been unplugged to use the normal, one-button, scrollwheel-less mouse (Mighty Mice are shit. Apple do some great things, but they have really lost the plot in a HUGE way where mice and keyboards are concerned, which is an inexcusable failing. Mice and keyboards ARE the user interface, ffs. This click-happy, easily-clogged, lightweight bit of shit they include with every Mac not only looks like crap next to the lovely, aluminium accessories and cases, but is horrid to use compared to any half-decent mouse. Unfortunately I just never get around to buying replacements, the last one I had I gave away with my eMac partly because I know what a horrid bit of crap the Apple one is).

Upon which it failed to make contact with anything, but instead wrapped, Indiana-Jones style, around the leg of the tripod. It's still there. I couldn't AIM to do that if I tried.

BT are sending me a new router. I called them around the same time I hurled the mouse and went and forcibly removed every cable from the old router and rebooted it. Oddly enough the router is behaving better now; I'm wondering if there is something loose in it.
Joy comes from Microsoft. Really.

It seems that sometime between the last, barely post-millennial attempt I made at using an MS Mouse/keyboard on a Mac, and now, they have released Intellitype for OS X. And it works. Which means I can now use my filthy, decade old, beaten-to-hell Natural Pro keyboard and my equally worn and shiny Intellimouse instead of that hateful Mighty Mouse.

And the media key works as an eject button. Also web and mail buttons work. And volume. In fact, one could ALMOST suggest that this were actually fully functional.

In Other News: Byebye, Doktor Looserocks. My AHB drum machine will now be heading to France. In short I have sold 1/2 a Delica's worth of stuff so far and I still have more things I think are redundant. It's temporary as my plans to upgrade to a Mackie D8B will cost me a few pounds when they come to fruition, but they will not need to be enacted for several months I feel.

SH-101's new owner was very happy with it and very enthusiastic about stuff. Also liked [livejournal.com profile] deathboy's music and production.
