Up oddly early today despite the usual insomnia. Hopefully this will reset my clock and let me sleep 1am to 8am instead of 4am-10am.
Cold weather becoming upon us, so I washed the Delica, drained back the outside taps, and put the hoses in the cellar to store them. Also found the annoying plastic pockets from Halfords were slightly too big, and didn't want to stick to the place I had in mind - but they fit the glovebox nicely.
Chickens all seem to be alive and happy today. Lots of sunlight seems to make for happy hens. Must chase Fern into house so she can't roost in the trellis.
Mazda booked in for service on Tuesday so it is done within the year and they can't get arsey about the warranty, EVER. Also chased up wheels since it turns out it was MAY when I asked about them. Politely suggested that six months without contact on the issue seemed a little excessive. At least the 25,000 mile service is not killingly expensive - still cheaper than an oil change from VW.
The bullbars are packed and waiting for collection, the laptop has gone. Bloke said he'd just collected one that had fallen off the front of a blokes jeep and been trodden on by a horse!
ETA: I removed the WiFi card from the stricken PowerBook and swapped it with the one in the G5; anyone who has been around me when using the G5 for online tasks will have heard much swearing about how crap the wireless is. Since swapping the cards over it has been stable. I bought the card originally fitted on eBay and I wondered if it was genuine; perhaps it was not. Either way - swapping them over appears to have sorted the G5's network issues.
