Well, that was interesting

So, there's this bloke in Hawick, called Rob. Really nice guy. I often see him at car shows, he owns and rents out the building at the bottom of the road to the biker shop and did it up properly.

Unrelatedly, I went to see a replacement for Chewbacca - moving away from the interminable parade of 150,000 mile Volvos of varying ages and prices, I'd spotted a Mitsubishi Delica just down the road. Frantically, I jump in the car and head out to view it...

And it's Rob.

And instead of rapidly viewing a car, I get invited to dinner with their friend Ian, talk music, stuff, weasels, horse bothering and cars (he has many beautiful classic cars), and the fact that someone already made an offer (too low, but accepted, without deposit) on said car. Eventually everyone but me was a tad tipsy, I escaped, and also have sorted out deals.

Chewbacca will be going on eBay with the most realistic description EVER unless anyone has a burning desire to own a 2.5 20v Lolvo...
