Just did a quick total of reasonable selling prices for my studio kit, leaving me with violin, Korg Trinity Pro X, G5 system if I sold everything (G5 includes a multi-in audio card so I could use it instead of a mixer). I'd need a new amp and speakers based on what I've put down, but that's fine.
£6.000. So realistically I'd probably get about £4,000 if I did things like bundling the JD800 and the sound cards (it's got the full set of 8 cards, some of which sell for £80).
Life would be a lot simpler without all this kit to deal with. I've decided that I really won't produce anything with it; I'm happier when I have just one or two things to play with than if I have all the sounds I wished I had. I'd add an Alesis Micron to my stuff, and I've kept my microphones, compressor... I could knock out one of the guitars so I definitely have one. Also kept Drumtraks in the list.
But Inpulse One, D-50, JD800, all that lot - I could get rid of them all. Aisde from having to perform the odd repair and cleaning them, if I hadn't had them this year I wouldn't have noticed. I'm also heavily veering towards a listing of old computers in the form of 99p, don't care what they go for, as long as they get picked up. Lots of Archimedes and Apple things, I think.
