Well, that was a lovely weekend, actually :)
The marriage of
thirstypixel and
sarcaustick was nothing other than the lavish and elegant affair one would expect, but with incredible warmth and relaxed atmosphere. So many friends, so many people and a wonderful setting. As well as seeing the wonderful Bride and Groom, I also got to catch up/get to know more people a touch more; it was particularly nice to see
redshira again after... well over a year I think - and to talk to
jozafeen :)
Drive back provide that York really is 2 hours, 30 minutes - Gateshead at 2am is not packed, but the A68 is too windy for sleepdep and sick people. The Astra has now done 5,000 miles in 2 months, and was reasonably comfortable for the drive - and did 104mph on one stretch of the A1. Wheee! I've washed it so it no longer says "Buttsex" or anything else on the back.
This week I might post some content. I've realised how bad my updating has been lately. I'm maybe going to post snippets about retro computers, or something, but I need to remember how to write more than "I did this and saw this".
Friday,
siani_hedgehog is going to Glasgow, and I'm going up on Saturday. I think we're seeing The Fall.
Much to my chargrin, my Intuos 2 mouse is developing a blister on the rubber. This is the second one I've had go like this. I think I need a new mouse solution :)
