That big gayer known only as aidan_skinner will no doubt be highly amused to learn that today's "Single of the Week" on the iTunes Music Store is none other than "The Hedrons - One More Won't Kill Me".

I slavishly download every free track, of course, but I might actually listen to this one ;)

On, and under the radar yesterday:

Apple beat Apple, now pwns Apple's ass.

Specifically, Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer Inc.) having defeated the mysteriously still moving corpse of Macca in court over the Apple/Apple Corps. trademarks, now owns all the Apple trademarks appropriate and is licensing them for Apple Corps. use as appropriate.

So, having crippled Apple's ability to market their multimedia platform effectively in the 1990s, Apple Corps. has now effectively lost control of their 'trademark'. Nicely done.

All of this actually points to Beatles music on iTMS. You can just about sense the excitement, right? Unimaginative puns about "imagining all the people downloading music" expected next week. I might be persuaded to buy Eleanor Rigby, though, if I don't need any of the other dross that went with it on most albums I've seen.
