Just a general updatey thing - I keep wanting to write long updates, but realising I've wittered about everything, so:

deathboy's visit was great. We did eventually play in the studio - his laptop is like an amazing box of musical tricks and makes me wonder why I have the G5 at all - but mostly we chatted, worked and socialised. Glasgow was great fun, I wasn't overtired or unsociable.

Still on a high from my unbirthday weekend :D

Had to collect kids from school, but that meant the Astra got a 3,000 mile (yes, it has done 3,000 miles since getting it on 8th Jan or so) oil change and balanced the rear wheels. Also found a low-pressure fuel seepage, so might be replacing some pipes. Was given late birthday presents including Wii game "Red Steel" :D!

Days are longer, I got a new satnav mounting for the SPV (also works with the cradle for my iPaq), going to clean the cars whilst there is light.

Everyone else is doing it...

Good mood turning ratty for the smallest things.

I like emulators. I have a PDA with a keyboard; it should be great for emulation.

NOT ONE OF THE FUCKING THINGS WORKS.

FuseSP? Blank screen. PocketMAME? Won't see the damn ROMS (MAME is a PITA usually, and it's 0.34 so ancient). PocketUAE? Locks up. SIM Coupe? Flickering keyboard, no way to cleanly exit, screen is upside down.

WM5 has been out for ages. 640x480 screens are common and should be total luxury for emulator writers. I appreciate there are issues, but why the hell can't ONE thing work.

Also, I have a headache and the house has NO PEOPLE.
