Placebo were alright. You sort of expect it. Big displays, it was like watching a music video.
Support act "Howling Bells" kicked arse. I bought their CD. They reminded me of Siouxsie crossed with Radiohead live; less so recorded (production is too clean) but still good. Good enough to merit 85 through Heriot bends when this particular track came on with the momentary aural pleasure it delivered.
I appear to have won a nice set of Spectrums on eBay for a tenner, collect in M'bro. I'm rather pleased about this, but now I need to collect 'em - I shall make arrangements! I wasn't expecting that, as a less appealing auction in Glasgow went for £37. All I can say is, Whoohoo!
(What's nice is, they kinda follow from the Tandy CoCo - my first CoCo died and was replaced with a 48K rubber keyboard, which was then replaced with a 48K+ - there's one of each in this lot!).
