Dec. 2nd, 2006 02:35 pmToday, off to Edinburgh. Taking the Mamiya and tripod, and probably visiting the German Market, though I doubt it will be as expansive as the Birmingham one I might get a good shot or two. I may decided that it's not worth the hassle of carrying the tripod and just take snaps with the Sony instead.
I've recently been learning how to play the violin section of "Cuts You Up", and I have to admit I'm quite taken with it - and considering at this stage if I should cut out one instrument from my arsenal in favour of "better violin". The obvious one to me being guitars - I would retain my much-loved Kramer Voyager. but I may part with the Roland MIDI guitars and the other Kramers in favour of a Bridge or Zeta electric violin of "much better quality" - perhaps a 5-string octave model if I chose to go with Bridge.
No, I'm not that good with the violin, but I am better with it than I am with guitar.
Need to get a proper iPod holder for the Mazda, but budgets don't really allow for that at present.
banhe is visiting, and we're also getting an
aidan_skinner later too!
My glasses broke. I am now wearing contacts and hoping I don't need to use my old glasses. I'm also having to buy more jeans as the 34" waist is HUGE on me and falling off. I think I need to go to a 30, but I'll try 32 first and a smaller belt.
Thinking about Christmas... I'm not sad about the potential lack of 'stuff'. I have too much stuff anyway. But, I remember when I was a teenager, my friends & I used to go to the parties in the pubs, or have our own parties, and I am really missing my friends - sort of "anticipating" missing them, more - over Christmas. What I'd like for Christmas, is to have all my friends really close to me. I hate you all for making me care about people. Ugh. ;)
