Jul. 10th, 2006 01:00 amPrompted by DeathBoy, I looked back across LJ for my review of Equilibrium. I can't remember when I saw it.
It's been a busy year, but I haven't accomplished very much, which frustrates me. Oh, I'm largely out of debt, and I am doing well at kicking the car habit (hey, it's been nearly six months since I decided to have TWO, and I really am never serious about parting with the Sera - more sad that it needs more and more work and the RX8 is so nice that I don't miss the Sera that much when I don't use it. Says a lot for VW's driving qualities that I did prefer the Sera to the Beetle to drive).
Amusingly, July 2005 saw: My violin playing improve very slightly (it hasn't since), my G5 throw a strop about the weather with random shutdowns, and my Behringer PSU flake out. This interests me in that I noticed it flake out in July 2005, and decided it still had a few thermal trips in it before the regulators needed throwing away - and indeed, it lasted a year and probably still has a few more to give, but I switched to the spare PSU.
I'm very sad about lots of posts about Clover from then, when the chickens were first escaping from the run and developing more obvious characters. I'm pleased - I think - that she crapped the Scary Thing Of Doom and it looks just like something Siani had found previously online - but she seems so very weak at the moment that I'm finding it hard to be optimistic this time. I should be. Optimism is what keeps things ticking for me and life rarely lets me down, but There Is No Telling With Chickens. I've been very lucky that my cat has been a particularly reliable one.
