Amused myself on the way back by racing an Audi in the 2CV, and the guy who was coming to see the Capri was trying to keep up in a 1.2 Corsa. That was funny. He seemed a little miffed that I'd said "I'm in a 2CV, I'll probably be a little slow". I had the 2CV's tyres squealing on the corners and the Audi TDi driver was clearly wanting to go faster, but had a turn-off coming up. Wheee!
Was very tempted by a 1984 Buick Riviera 5.0 V8. Very. At £2K, it was a perfect '80s pimpmobile-in-waiting and a cheap basis for a lowrider.
Capri bloke complained about the paint. Well, duh. If it wasn't all patchy and touched in with the wrong shade, it would be a bit more expensive ;)
