Bedtime

And the studio is tidy. And verily there are no longer MIDI leads all over the place, and only one or two effects need to be reconnected which will be made infinitely easier by the recovery of a couple of looms when I get the proper balanced EDAC loom for the ADAT, during the fitting of which I may remove said device and check the PSU after the Christmas flakeout.

Being able to sit down and play the MIDI guitar is just so much easier now.
What shall I do today. Haven't got any cash (even though PayPal is nicely charged up right now) so I can't really go anywhere, I'm pondering studio stuff (got it nicely tidy and had a visit from a local media-type person who seemed to understand the "I don't know what I want to do, but I want to do something" problem). It's a bit cold and damp so I don't fancy fitting the carpet in the summer house (plus the hammer is AWOL).

Got a replacement 266MHz CPU for my Beige G3 so it's working - I'd still really appreciate it if anyone with a spare CPU from a B&W or Beige G3 with a bit more poke flings it in my direction instead of the bin, but it is nice to have the old faithful beast running again (OS X stable too).

Does anyone know how to reassign controllers on the Korg T1? I've got an EXP 2 pedal hooked up to one of the assignable controller inputs on the back, but it seems that ASS. 1 and 2 are assigned to patch down and up respectively, but I would like them to do something else - perhaps map them to the X and Y axis of the Wavestation joystick controller for example.

I see that the sustain pedal I want so much is actually quite cheap new; the EXP 2s are very expensive for some reason :/
6/10

Simon Callow was a turnip for the books, though.

Next week looks very interesting, though...
