Doctor cannot find any evidence of cataracts. Hmm. Why do my eyes react to UV (the pupils, not the whites)
Orpington eggses for lunch. Yum.
Subaru has a rusty roof! It's only 5.5 years old!
Siani's bass has finally been identified - 1980s (around 1988 perhaps, maybe 1985) Squier HM Bass V - HM stands for heavy metal, apparently, hence the totally non-stock looking headstock. Good reputation, apparently.

Must sell my Roland GR505, as I want to keep my TD3K kit. I'll take £475 for the system - G505, GR300, cables, 110v convertor...

The frequency response for the blue cones does extend into UV, although it's normally dwarfed out by blue light.

In fact, I vaugely remember someone playing about with special filters that filtered all light but UV, and wandering around looking at the UV spectrum.

That said, I remember him warning that the eyes don't normally respond to it, so maybe I'm waffling randomly.

What happened with me was that at Laughtons, my pupils were glowing - people thought I had very cool contacts on - then thought cataracts.

I wondered if it was protein or something like that. Very strange, whatever it was. Of course it went away when I put my glasses on due to the UV filters.
