Sister's birthday present turned up, which is good. Also, the claims company dealing with my dead Mac Classic reckon an iMac is almost certainly (not 100% though) the closest replacement, so I may well not get an eMac. I don't suppose I care that much, but I do prefer the iMac LCD screen.
Missed DHL. Killed phone since their number was ringing out. My temper is not good today. Turns out the bloke who assaulted us got £200 fine; his uncle who didn't actually do the assault, but stopped me killing his nephew, got £300 fine and £200 compensation. Is that mine? I wonder when I get it.
I want to kill Apple's Core MIDI inna face. Or at least, I want to know WHY THE HELL MY SYSEX TRANSFERS AREN'T WORKING!. I'm thorough sick of swapping MIDI cables and such. It all worked before under OS9. OMS and SoundDiver 3.0.5 - why SoundDiver 3.1, OS X and Core MIDI (which is fucking well derived from OMS anyway) is so different is beyond me. It's either a G5 issue, or software, or perhaps things aren't compatible with the Steinberg Midex8 any more. Not being able to see the screen on the T1 doesn't help, the contrast control is fucked and will anyone sell me a new one, or even a new output board? Will they fuck. Add to this /every/ site claiming to offer help for the T-series is full of people trying to sell shit, and no factory patches... I'm very tempted to PayPal to get all the files from the M/T series Super Site then put them somewhere anyone can download them. Fucking $12 for a FACTORY disc copy.
